The trade helped anchor the daily volumes and turnover as it claimed 99.04% of the former and 99.25% of the latter. The telecoms giant ended at VWAP of $3.8112, having traded an intra-day low of $3.8500. Activity aggregates improved in the session as volumes traded ballooned 116.29% to 53.32m, to yield a total value of $185.35m which was a 88.82% upsurge from prior session.

The market rebounded in mid-week session after a 10-day losing streak. The All-Share Index gained 0.09% to 195.56pts while, the Agriculture Index climbed 2.29% to 154.58pts. The Mid-Cap Index edged up 0.43% to 239.80pts while, on the contrary the ZSE Top Ten Index shed 0.03% to 189.81pts. Willdale led the gainers of the day having surged 13.67% to $0.0341 while, SeedCo Limited rallied 11.51% to $2.8000.
CBZ Holdings highlighted the session as circa 11.03m shares worth $79.41m exchanged hands. The trade claimed 92.42% of the total volume traded and 96.88% of the total value. Turnover for the day soared 1,814.79% to $81.96m while, volume of shares traded surged 259.26% to 11.93m shares. Datvest MCS was the sole fund trade amongst its kind as 6,895 units worth $206.85 exchanged hands. The Tigere REIT added 0.10% to settle at $1.3850 on 1,057 units.
The market firmed up in week-ending session as the primary All Share Index ticked up 0.31% to 198.11pts while, the ZSE Top Ten Index rose 0.12% to 192.16pts. ZSE Agriculture Index edged up 2.11% to close at 158.00pts while, the Mid Cap Index grew 0.08% to 241.14pts. Hippo Valley Estates was the top gainer of the day having surged 15.00% to end at $4.6000. Trailing behind was SeedCo Limited which garnered 5.53% to $2.9803 while, agriculture concern Ariston charged 4.03% to $0.0329.
ZSE gains persisted into the new week as the primary All-Share Index firmed up 0.24% to 198.58pts while, the Blue-Chip Index edged up 0.22% to 192.58pts. The Agriculture Index added 0.11% to 158.18pts while, the Mid Cap Index grew 0.33% to 241.94pts. Brick manufacturer Willdale headlined the gainers of the day on a 32.09% jump to end pegged at $0.0400 with sugar refiner Star Africa trailing on a 14.68% climb to close at $0.0459.
ZSE extended gains in Tuesday’s session as Ariston and Hippo Valley Estates held the market afloat. The mainstream All Share Index rose 0.15% to 198.87pts while, the ZSE Agriculture Index ticked up 2.34% to 161.88pts. The Mid-Cap Index edged up 0.95% to 244.23pts however, the ZSE Top Ten Index slipped 0.23% to 192.15pts. Ariston headlined the gainers of the day after a 36.48% rally to end pegged at $0.0400.
ZSE faltered in mid-week session as losses in selected heavies weighed on the market. The All-Share Index fell 2.03% to 194.83pts while, the Blue-Chip Index retreated 2.74% to 186.88pts. Conversely, the Agriculture Index added 0.21% to 162.23pts while, the Mid Cap Index climbed up 1.08% to 246.86pts. Beverages manufacturer Delta headlined the losers of the day having lost 7.51% to close at a VWAP of $12.7121having traded an intraday low of $11.1865 as BAT followed on a 6.24% loss to $75.0000.
The market recovered in Thursday’s session as mid and heavy cap counters buoyed the ZSE. The primary All Share Index rose 1.53% to 197.81pts while, the ZSE Top Ten Index climbed 1.97% to 190.56pts. The Mid-Cap Index inched up 0.02% to 246.92pts while, the ZSE Agriculture Index ticked up 0.58% to 163.17pts. Seed Co Limited headlined the risers of the day as it surged 14.96% to $3.5088 while, Delta jumped 8.46% to $13.2019.
The ZSE market breached the 200pts mark in the week-ending session as it registered a 1.46% rise to 200.70pts. The BlueChip Index grew 1.91% to end at 194.19pts. The ZSE Agriculture Index went up 0.24% to 163.57pts while, on the contrary the Mid Cap Index shed 0.10% to close at 246.67pts. Risers and fallers of the day were equally distributed at ten apiece. Winners of the day were led by Econet that garnered 12.23% to close at a vwap of $4.5997, having traded an intraday high of $4.6000.
Gains persisted into the final week of the month of July as the mainstream All-Share Index rose by a further 0.41% to 201.53pts. The Agriculture Index jumped 2.28% to 167.30pts on the back of gains in Tanganda, BAT and SeedCo Limited. The ZSE Top Ten and Mid-Cap Indices gained a similar 0.42% to close at 195.00pts and 247.71pts in that order. Tea producer Tanganda led the winners of the day having surged 14.44% to $1.0300 on retail demand as Property concern Mashonaland Holdings jumped 8.95% to $1.5000, albeit it closing well offered lower.
ZSE market faltered in the session as heavies BAT, FML and Econet weighed down the market. The All-Share Index fell 0.04% to 201.45pts while, the Blue-Chip Index retreated 0.29% to 194.44pts. On the contrary, the Agriculture Index edged up 0.26% to 167.74pts while, the Mid Cap Index added 0.85% to 249.81pts. BAT led the losers of the day having lost 6.67% to end pegged at $70.0000 as FML followed on a 2.51% decline to close at $3.5000.

The Agriculture Index went up 1.93% to 170.96pts while, the MidCap Index fell 0.97% to 247.40pts. BAT surged 15.00% to $80.5000 as it headlined the top performers of the day while, tea producer Tanganda firmed up 5.53% to $1.0869.
