EFE Securities Year to Year Financial Statements
The ZSE market rebounded in Thursday’s session as the AllShare Index edged up 0.17% to close at 199.88pts while, the Blue-Chip Index rose 0.64% to 198.08pts. The Agriculture Index firmed up 1.84% to 169.14pts while, on the contrary the Mid Cap Index fell 1.36% to 229.75pts. Nampak and Zimpapers were the top performers of the day with an identical 15.00% increase to end pegged at $0.8050 and $0.1265 respectively.

ZSE faltered in midweek session as selected heavies dragged down the market. The All Share Index declined 0.21% to 199.13pts while, the Mid-Cap Index fell 0.96% to 230.76pts. Contrastingly, the ZSE Top Ten Index added 0.03% to close at 196.86pts while, the ZSE Agriculture Index rose 0.43% to 166.79pts. Packaging company Nampak led the laggards of the day after a 14.22% decline to settle at $0.7000.
ZSE maintained a positive momentum in Tuesday’s session as the All-Share Index rose by 0.38% to 199.55pts while, the BlueChip Index edged up 0.44% to 196.81pts. The Mid Cap Index added 0.19% to 232.92pts while, on the contrary the Agriculture Index retreated 3.57% to settle at 166.08pts. Telecommunication giant Econet headlined the gainers of the day having gained 11.28% to end pegged at $4.1190 with Dairibord following on a 3.64% increase to $1.7100.
The ZSE kicked off the week with marginal gains as the All Share Index gained 0.63% to 198.80pts while, the Top 10 Index rose 1.25% to 195.95pts. However, the Agriculture Index dropped 1.01% to close at 172.22pts on the back of losses in TSL & Ariston. In the same vein, the Mid-Cap Index fell 1.36% to end at 232.47pts. Nampak & TSL headlined the laggards of the day as they dropped a similar 14.98% to see the duo close at $0.8160 and $1.7200 respectively.
Construction group Masimba anchored today’s turnover as 169.90m shares worth $19.97m traded in the session. The trade accounted for 63.44% of the total turnover and 8.23% of the volume aggregate. Fintech group Ecocash was the top volume driver of the day as it claimed 90.85% of the aggregate and 22.24% of the value outturn.
Losses continued to persist on the bourse in Thursday’s session as the All-Share Index fell 0.45% to 198.06pts while, the Agriculture Index retreated 2.08% to 178.30pts. The Mid Cap Index parred off 1.88% to settle at 240.02pts while, on the contrary the Blue-Chip Index rose by 0.03% to 192.99pts. Dragging the market was brick manufacturer Willdale that dropped 16.33% to settle at $0.0502 with TSL following on a 14.99% dip to end pegged at $2.3800.......
The ZSE continued to falter in mid-week session as selected heavies dragged down the market. The All-Share Index declined 0.30% to 198.95pts while, the ZSE Top 10 Index shed 0.22% to 192.94pts. The ZSE Agriculture Index went down 3.86% to settle at 182.08pts on the back of losses in Seed Co, BAT and TSL. The Mid-Cap Index slipped 0.54% to 244.61pts.
The market slipped into the red in Tuesday’s session to see the All-Share Index retreating 0.01% to end at 199.55pts while, the Agriculture Index let go 0.01% to 189.39pts. The Mid Cap Index lost 0.33% to end at 245.93pts. On the contrary, the ZSE Top Ten Index went up 0.09% to close at 193.36pts. Star Africa was the top laggard of the day on a 9.17% decline to $0.0501.
The ZSE market commenced the new month of June in gains as the All-Share Index rose by 1.38% to 199.57pts while, the Blue-Chip Index firmed up 1.78% to 193.18pts. The Mid Cap Index added 0.23% to settle at 246.73pts. Telecommunication giant Econet headlined the gainers of the day on 12.94% jump to end pegged at $3.3595 with Proplastics trailing behind on a 7.93% gain to $1.3750. AFDIS edged up 2.79% to $7.0000 while, beverages giant Delta advanced 0.21% to close at $13.5299.
Econet highlighted the market in month-ending session as 97,644,338 shares exchanged hands at negotiated price of $2.4800 bringing the total shares traded in the session to $97,688,999 shares. The trade represented 98.87% of the total shares exchanged hands and 94.48% of the value outturn. Mashonaland Holdings led the winners of the day on a 7.27% surge to $1.3087.
The market recorded modest gains in the penultimate session of the month as the All-Share Index rose by 0.04% to 196.61pts while, the Agriculture Index advanced 1.67% to 188.87pts. The Mid Cap Index edged up 0.56% to 247.17pts while, on the contrary the Blue-Chip Index fell 0.14% to 189.23pts. TSL Limited led the gainers of the day on 11.54% jump to settle at $2.9000 with Proplastics trailing behind on a 6.17% gain to $1.2000.

Ecocash Holdings led the gainers of the day after a 14.96% surge that took it to $0.1440 while, banking giant CBZ followed on a 8.64% increase to finish at $7.8000.
