The ZSE continued to record losses for the fifth consecutive week, mainly weighed down by reduced liquidity across the board. The All Share Index was 1.25% weaker at 453.25pts while, the segregated Industrials lost 1.28% to close trading at 444.78pts. The Blue-Chip Index was 2.13% down at 446.83pts, mainly weighed down by RTG, Hippo, Delta, CBZ and Dairibord. On the contrary, the Mid Cap Index was 2.30% firmer at 511.36pts as it extended its YTD gains to 83.84%. Elsewhere, Revitus Real Estate Investment Trust reported a 591.3% profit surge to US$4.60 million for 2025, largely propelled by non-rental gains.

Rainbow Tourism Group led the laggards of the week after succumbing 21.81% week on week as the hotelier settled at $1.2900. Tea processor Tanganda plunged 14.76% to close at $3.5205, where demand could be found. Hippo Valley Estates lost 13.39% to $9.2673 as property concern Mashonaland Holdings trimmed 5.04% to end at $1.6000 as selling pressure persists in the name. Conglomerate Meikles retreated back to $2.4025 on a 3.90% decline with Delta Corporation losing 1.39% to settle at $28.0096, having traded an intra-week low of $26.0000. Banking group CBZ eased 0.96% to close at $38.9995 on selling pressure while, ZSE Holdings dropped 0.23% to close at $3.5400. Plastic manufacturer Proplastics shed 0.21% to $1.5400 while, Dairibord lost a negligible 0.08% to settle at $5.9950.
Masimba led the risers of the week on a 28.65% surge that took it to $2.9900 while, Zimre Holdings Limited was 23.23% higher at $0.8600. TN Cybertech rose 17.99% week on week and closed at $0.4018, where supply could be established with General Beltings adding 16.28% to settle at $0.1000. SeedCo Limited added 7.82% to close at $4.5124 while, agricultural concern Ariston ticked up 7.81% to end pegged at $0.0541. Sugar refiner Star Africa was 6.54% up at $0.0528 on the back of firming demand while, packaging group Nampak added 2.27% to close at $0.9000. Life assurer Fidelity was 1.09% higher at $0.9300 while, Turnall added 0.92% to $0.1405
