The market upsurge continued in the mid-week session as the search for a safe haven in the stock market increased following the decline in the value of the local currency. The All Share Index gained 2.17% to close higher at 150.16pts while, the Industrial Index broke the 500pts mark in the session to reach 501.77pts after extending 2.18%.
