MARKET COMMENT -2025-08-26

ZSE gains 0.11%…. 
The ZSE market registered marginal gains in the session as the All-Share Index edged up 0.11% to 205.97pts while, the Agriculture Index added 1.51% to 171.25pts. The Mid Cap 
Index rose 2.57% to 237.52pts while, on the contrary, the BlueChips Index fell 0.48% to 202.76pts. Turnall Holdings headlined the gainers of the day having climbed 79.22% to settle at $0.1100 as it reversed previous day’s losses. Dairibord trailed on a 15.00% jump to close at $1.6675. Seed Co Limited surged 2.55% to $3.7942 while, TN Cybertech went up 0.74% to $0.1200. Hippo Valley Estates completed the top five gainers of the day on a 0.24% gain to land at $5.6925. Trading in the negative was NMB Holdings that parred off 9.75% to finish at $3.6100 as ZSE Holdings followed on a 3.64% loss to $1.9995. Banking group FBC Holdings shed 1.56% to $7.6784 while, ZB Financial Holdings trimmed 0.33% to $3.0000. Meikles Limited capped the top five fallers of the day on a 0.28% loss to end pegged at $3.5000.  
 
Turnover plunged 85.25% to $15.70m while, volumes traded succumbed 85.41% to 2.66m shares. The volume drivers of the day were Econet (25.45%), Delta (22.02%) and Proplastics (11.72%). Delta and Econet drove the value aggregate as they claimed a combined 71.75% of the total. In the ETF category, Morgan & Co MIZ ETF was unchanged at $0.0400 on 540 units while, the Cass Saddle ETF lost 6.59% to $0.1168 as 50 units exchanged hands. Cumulatively, 17,910 units worth $20,267.29 exchanged hands in the two REITS, with no price movements registered.
