The midweek session saw a marked improvement in the activity aggregates with volumes of shares traded ballooning 246.73% to 7.99m while, market spend swelled 207.69% to $3.95m. The top volume drivers for the day were Willdale (22.54%), Simbisa (11.58%) and Barclays (10.98%). Delta, Old Mutual, PPC and Simbisa claimed a combined 78.94% of total turnover for the day.
