The ZSE ended the week higher, despite a decline in today’s aggregate activity. The Industrial Index rose 0.18% to settle at 198.41pts as it continues to edge closer to the 200pts mark. The Mining index was unchanged at 69.19pts with no activity in the subsector. Two counters gained against no fallers in a session that saw nine counters trading, leaving the market with a positive breadth. Axia Corporation was the top gainer, as it surged 9.09%, to settle at $0.1200 and Hippo increased 3.03% to settle at $0.8500. Econet recorded no trades closing with a spread of $0.3690-$0.3700. Other heavies, Delta, Old Mutual, SeedCO and Innscor traded unchanged at $1.2725, $3.9300, $1.3400 and $0.7225 in that order.
