Market Comment -05.02.2019

The ZSE indices closed mixed in Tuesday’s session as three of the benchmarks ended in the black while, the Top ten Index continued to show signs of weakness. The heavies Index slipped 1.56% to 158.23pts weighed down by losses in Hippo, Econet, Cassava and Old Mutual. Four shakers of the day were led by Hippo that shed 2.06% to $1.7139, trailed by Econet that retreated 0.34% to end at $1.4948, closing with a spread of $1.4200-$1.4900.
