MARKET COMMENT 04.06.2026

ZSE extends gains in penultimate session… 
The market extended gains in the penultimate session of the 
week as the primary All Share Index rose 1.79% to 396.26pts 
while, the Blue-Chip Index added 2.03% to 392.49pts. The 
Agriculture Index firmed up 0.03% to 330.54pts while, the Mid 
Cap Index went up 0.78% to 439.88pts. Mashonaland Holdings 
headlined the top performers of the day on a 14.96% jump to 
$1.6784, followed by FML that surged 14.09% to $2.1723. 
Banking group FBC Holdings charged 13.87% to close at 
$11.4434 while, Dairibord ticked up 8.78% to $2.9452. Brick 
maker Willdale capped the top five gainers of the day on a 
6.67% uplift to $0.0400. Trading in the negative territory was 
BAT that dropped 4.26% to $177.1146, trailed by TN Cybertech 
that fell 2.79% to $0.1401. Tanganda came off 1.05% to settle 
at $5.5497 while, FMP trimmed 0.67% to $0.9000. Seed 
producer SeedCo capped the laggards of the day on a 0.03% 
loss to end pegged at $4.0000.
