The ZSE extended its gains in Friday’s session after the mainstream Industrial Index notched 0.29% to 140.08pts on the back of six bulls with no losers registered. Banking group NMB was the best performer of the day after ticking up 9.94% to $0.03650, ending with a bid at that level. Econet continued with its rising momentum after putting on 2.48% to settle at $0.1650 on persistent demand. SeedCo and Natfoods also helped push the index higher after the heavies put on 2.05% and 0.42% to end pegged at $0.9491 and $3.5550 apiece. Multi-listed Old Mutual completed the five risers set with a 0.21% lift to see its shares being exchanged at $3.5825 on firming demand. Conglomerate Meikles rose 0.08% to end the session at $0.1315.
