Waning demand in heavies dragged the market into the red in mid-week session with the All Share Index and Industrials trimming 0.44% and 0.45% to 157.63pts and 526.04pts respectively. The Top Ten Index lost 0.78% to close lower at 157pts. Cement manufacturer PPC headlined the shakers of the day after dropping 5.26% to settle at a vwap of $1.8001.
