ZSE extends gains in the last session of the month…
The market extended gains in the last session of the week as the primary All Share Index rose 0.44% to 480.81pts while, the Blue-Chip Index added 0.34% to 486.86pts. The Mid Cap Index put on 0.89% to 484.94pts while, the Agriculture Index lost 0.54% to 342.93pts. SeedCo topped the best performers of the day on a 14.39% jump to $5.3233, followed by Nampak that charged 11.58% to $0.9373. AFDIS surged 9.27% to close at $15.0000 as TN Cybertech ticked up 9.11% to $0.3279. Hotelier RTG capped the risers of the day on a 6.40% uplift to $1.5414. Trading in the negative territory was milk processor Dairibord that dropped 10.85% to $5.7023 while, ZSE Holdings tumbled 10.00% to $1.3500. Brick maker Willdale eased 4.52% to $0.0500 while, Zimre Holdings came off 4.48% to $0.8900. Star Africa completed the worst performers of the day on a 2.30% retreat to $0.0390.
Activity aggregates enhanced in the session as volumes traded rose by 3.89% to 449,000 shares while, turnover grew by 337.88% to $7.35m. Top volume drivers of the day were Delta (46.08%), ZSE Holdings (13.85%) and Ariston (12.18%). Delta was the top traded stock by value claiming 90.29% of the aggregate.
