MARKET COMMENT 12.06.2026

ZSE closes Friday’s session in the black… 
The ZSE market ended the week in the black as the All-Share 
Index put on 1.14% to 404.30pts while, the Blue-Chip Index 
added 1.66% to 402.83pts. The Agriculture Index went up 
4.81% to 338.94pts while, the Mid Cap lost 0.95% to 
438.13pts. Cigarette processor BAT headlined the top 
performers of the day on a 15.00% jump to $218.1300, 
followed by CBZ Holdings that surged 6.46% to $19.3535. 
Sugar processor Hippo charged 4.26% to close at $8.6000 
while, NMB edged up 2.52% to $5.4847. Star Africa completed 
the top performers of the day on a 0.83% uplift to end at 
$0.0403.  Trading in the negative territory was Meikles that 
dropped 6.72% to $2.7000 while, AFDIS fell 5.00% to $15.0100. 
Zimre Holdings slipped 2.93% to settle at $0.6600 while, 
Ariston trimmed 1.46% to $0.0640. FBC completed the 
laggards of the day on a 0.38% retreat to $10.9569.  
 
Activity aggregates were mixed in the session as volume 
traded declined 96.09% to 596,000 shares while, turnover 
grew by 11.97% to $14.38m. Delta and Turnall were the most 
traded stocks in terms of volume after contributing 33.57% 
and 32.05% respectively. Top value drivers of the day were 
BAT (52.95%) and Delta (41.75%). Cass Saddle ETF inched up 
0.17% to settle at $0.0700. The Tigere REIT declined 2.04% to 
end the day pegged at $1.1413.
